A single Vestal in the Butterfly Conservation light trap. Another Clifden Nonpareil this time in the garden trap. Also of note in the garden trap a Brindled Ochre.

Night of 4th October, one Blair's Mocha female to light in Bernwood Forest. Second VC24 record in a week following a male caught by Richard Ellis in Chorleywood night of 2nd October.

Mediterranean Corn-borer Sesamia nonagrioides on St. Agnes, Isles of Scilly, on 2 October (M. Hicks). Looks like Small Wainscot and most probably new to Britain.
