Single Vestals seen during the day on 30 Sept by the coast path near St Levan and at Drift Reservoir (both Cornwall).

A single Vestal in the Butterfly Conservation light trap. Another Clifden Nonpareil this time in the garden trap. Also of note in the garden trap a Brindled Ochre.

One delicate one pearly underwing and very late clouded silver possibly migran

Night of 4th October, one Blair's Mocha female to light in Bernwood Forest. Second VC24 record in a week following a male caught by Richard Ellis in Chorleywood night of 2nd October.

Vestal - 3, RDP - 4,Silver Y - 2, single Delicate, D.S.Grass, Pearly Underwing, Small Mottled Willow and Convolvulus Hawk Moth.

Mediterranean Corn-borer Sesamia nonagrioides on St. Agnes, Isles of Scilly, on 2 October (M. Hicks). Looks like Small Wainscot and most probably new to Britain.
