Should have said that my previous entry was from Alderney alone. In Jersey they have had Southern Brindled Green & in Guernsey at least two Clifden Nonpareil & a Dumeril's etc - so watch this space!

We've just had our 2nd-ever Channel Islands Moth Nights weekend (substitute for NMN; the last was end of June) - migrants: Convolvulus (4), Scarce Bordered Straw (7), Cosmopolitan (6), Gem (1), Vestal (11), Tree-lichen Beauty (1), P cingulata (1); residents included Delicate, Beautiful Gothic, Feathered Brindle all 100+, E extimalis 3rd brood (11), E limbata 3rd (2)& E bankesiella 2nd (1). Red Admirals watched by bathers yesterday crossing sea from France (8 miles). Also Migrant Hawker in mvl & 2 Yellow-winged Darter on cliffs.
