Clouded Yellow:male taking nectar from prickly sow-thistle on 22nd Sept;male flying east very low & very fast on 24th.Painted Lady:one taking ivy nectar on Sept 23rd and another doing so on 24th & 25th.

Pale-lemon Sallow to 125W MV - only the fourth Dorset record. (M Deans, J Chainey, P Bryant, N Sherman & J Spence). Also Dark Sword-grass (3) on Ivy. |

Afternoon of 24th September, one Painted Lady on Ivy flowers, Swaffham;
and good numbers of Red Admirals still on the wing in Swaffham area. |

Another migrant night here in Weston. 125W MV ran on Brean Down, Somerset produced 12 Silver Y, 4 Udea ferrugalis and a Convolvulus Hawk-moth. Also The Blackneck which I believe at this time of year may be a migrant as well.
