Red Admiral butterflies were watched arriving in of the sea at Lowestoft, Suffolk this morning. Seven were seen in as many minutes around 09:30
Individuals were still arriving after 10am a little to the north at Corton. If they originated from Europe would this have involved a nocturnal migration given the arrival time? |
