Daytime 11th September. 5 x Red Admirals at one time in the garden and several sightings of Hummingbird Hawks during the morning and afternoon; Red Admirals have been seen regularly over several weeks, and the HHMs regularly over 3-4 months

In the Peak District at Blackbrook, Mike Dale and myself recorded 2 Dark Sword-grass and 2 Silver Y last night Fri 9th.
Not in the same league as other people's records, but if you lived in the West Mids then this is a sign of major migrant activity by 2011 standards!! |
