Another Rest Harrow was also light trapped at Dumpton, Thanet, the previous night.

6 Red-veined Darters and a single male Lesser Emperor at Windmill CWTR, The Lizard, Cornwall on 14 August.

Singles of Pale-shouldered Cloud and Metalampra italica to 125w MV.

Night of 7/8/11 : Silver Y (1) attracted to light.

1356a Evergestis limbata, described as a rare migrant on UKMoths website, just identified from an mv moth trap I set on 1/7/11 in Arne, Dorset.

Further to the two Small Marbled caught 25/07/2011 at wasteland near to Higher Hyde Heath a potential larva of the species was found. It is now known to definitely be a larva of the Small Marbled, and I have posted a photograph.

Jersey tiger observed on Friday 5 August (morning) flying and settling on ragwort and willows at ARC, RSPB Dungeness reserve.
