Male Vagrant Emperor Anax ephippiger again at Denge Marsh this afternoon - showed well between c12:45pm - c1:30pm along the dyke south of Springfield Bridge on the RSPB Reserve at TR055182.

Also good numbers of Hairy Dragonfly Brachytron pratense present along the dykes.

Windmill Farm Nature Reserve: 2 Vagrant Emperor showing well on Ruan Pool until at least 1.30pm. Also 5 Red-veined Darters there. 3 Red-veined Darters also present at a private site near Predannack.
Two additional Vagrant Emperor seen at Mullion the same day. Various observers

Sunday 24th April 2011 - 3 Vagrant Emperors patrolling on Denegmarsh Sewer at Springfield Bridge, Dungeness RSPB reserve, plus one extra on RSPB reserve at Christmas Dell hide (David Walker, DBO) all at lunchtime.
