Sussex Butterfly Conservation has reported sightings of 7 different Queen of Spain Frittilaries in Oct 2009 near Chichester.Neil Hulme photographed a very fresh male mating with a newly hatched female on 13th.

Also a specimen of The Streak (rare here) and high counts of Large Wainscot (26) and Merveille du Jour (6). |
