Night of 6 October: Signs of migration with a Painted Lady in the moth-trap and an increase in Silver Ys (13). 2 Pearly Underwings + 2 Dark Sword-grass. Pretty feeble by usual autumn standards!
Resident highlights were the first Brindled Ochre of the autumn and 1 Feathered Brindle. |

Rusty-dot Pearl 1, Rush Veneer 8, Large Yellow Underwing 109, Turnip Moth 1, Setaceous Hebrew Character 3, L-album Wainscot 8, White-point 3 & Angle Shades 33 - a large increase. Also the first autumn records of Yellow-line Quaker (1) and Grey Shoulder-knot (4) and a single Red Underwing. |
