Elsewhere on the Bawdsey Peninsula a Cypress Pug taken in Hollesley last night (N. Mason).
At least two Willow Emerald Damselflies still present today at Staverton Lake in the north east corner. If visiting, park at Daisy's Walk car park TM 354 502 and walk down track to view at TM 359 515. KEEP TO PUBLIC RIGHTS OF WAY.

A couple of records of possible interest from the past two weeks:
Saturday 18 July - Hummingbird Hawkmoth in Woodford, Cheshire, found resting during the day on hotel wall (under light)
Saturday 25 July, Felixstowe Ferry (just across the River Deben from Matthew Deans) - big catch at actinic light included Tree Lichen Beauty, Rush Veneer, White Point (singles) and 107 Large Yellow Underwing...
