Willow Ermine Y. rorrella 1 Diamond-back Moth P. xylostella 40 Evergestis limbata 1 - fourth Suffolk record (all at Bawdsey) Rush Veneer N. noctuella 4 Dioryctria sylvestrella 1 Dark Sword-grass 10 Langmaid's Yellow Underwing 2 Large Yellow Underwing c1,500 Small Mottled Willow 3 Silver Y 204+ Also The Phoenix and Small Phoenix trapped (both third site records). |

Night of 18th July; Convolvulous hawk at Nicotiana, and at mv, small mottled willow(2), Bloxworth snout and four-spotted footman. At the west end of the Island Sam Knill-Jones had two Oraches.

Night of 17 July: A significant arrival of Silver Ys over the last 2 nights with 98 last night and 60 the previous. Also on the 17th 9 Dark Sword-grass.
