Hummingbird Hawkmoth in garden on Thurs and Fri

several Dainty Damselfly (Coenagrion scitulum) found at a site on Jersey on 16 June - perhaps the first record of the species there for over sixty years.

Humming Bird Hawk seen by day at Trevergy Farm on 18th June 09.

Not sure whether a migrant or resident, but the first modern record of Red-necked Footman for Yorkshire, at Silton Forest, VC62, last night 13 June.

A Dewick's Plusia to 125mv last night (13th Jun) at Hythe - my first here

Morning of 14/6/09 : Broad-bordered Bee Hawk-moth seen in our garden.

1st garden record of the species which was a very clearly marked specimen and good views were obtained.

Night of 13/06/09:

Traps stuffed full of moths with cloud and overnight rain, minimum 15 degrees, 150 species recorded.
