Single Rannoch Looper taken night of June 13th

Trapped night of 12 June.
Bordered Straw (very worn).
Probably a first for the Outer Hebrides.

Night of 12/06/09:

1 Rannoch Looper at Maidscross Hill, Lakenheath - new to VC26. Myself and the Suffolk Moth Group.

2 Rannoch Loopers at Bawdsey - 1 at MV and the other at actinic light.
Only other migrants 4 Diamond-back Moths.

Single Rannoch Loopers on the nights of 9 & 10 June.

That brings the total to 7 taken in Suffolk on the night of 9 June; with one taken last night (10th) + one found by day (11th).

Night of 10/6/09 : White-point (1), Pale Mottled Willow (1), European Corn-borer (1) & Diamond-back (4).

Rannoch Looper caught from Polytunnel at my Aquatic Nursery at Acre meadow,New Road, Bradwell, Great Yarmouth,Norfolk NR31 9DU in daylight at 10.25 this morning Thursday 11th June.

9 Diamond-back Moths
1 Dark Sword-grass
6 Silver Y

Also Small Clouded Brindle (first site record) and Lobster Moth (second site record).
