A 'massive' migration of Painted Lady was reported heading north on the 17th, 18th, 19th April on a very wide front in Herault and Gard departements.

|
On 20 April a Painted Lady, a Clouded Yellow and a Locust were seen. The latter was disturbed from the coastal path and flew into the edge of a field.

15th April: 1 Red Admiral and 3 Diamond-back Moth seen on Mount Pleasant, Newhaven. This is often a good spot for migrant species, being an area of high ground by the Ouse estuary between the cliffs at Newhaven and Seaford Head.
