Night of 6 November:
Red-headed Chestnut (1) - to 60w actinic light. The fourth site (and County) record. Only other migrants were N. noctuella (1), U. ferrugalis (2) and Silver Y (3). |

unusual catch of 15 moths on night of November 4th included one late Svenssons Copper Underwing and one Oak Beauty

N. noctuella (1), U. ferrugalis (1) and Dark Sword-grass (7) - the latter the highest nightly count this year. Also Angle Shades (16) and Setaceous Hebrew Character (2) - quite possibly migrant specimens too. Late news from yesterday: Night of 3 November, Gem (1) caught in Hollesley by N. Mason. |
