Nothing to report for the last three nights, can't compete with the wind, rain and moon. Night of 15th Oct, RD Pearl (1), Pearly Underwing (2) and White Speck (18), which accounted for 50% of the moths caught.

Recent southerly winds have brought in a few migrant dragonflies. Two Vagrant Emperor Anax ephippiger were reported from County Durham yesterday (15/10/2019). Another Vagrant Emperor, and what sounds more like a Lesser Emperor A. parthenope, have also been seen on the Channel Isles in recent days.
