Gem - one female

Hummingbird hawk moth seen today 16/9/08 1st one I have ever seen, mistook it for a Hummingbird. Beautiful, sadly not quick enougth with the camera. Watched it for about 5 mins at 1600hrs feeding.

4 L-Album Wainscot to 125 MV - reported in "Waring's" as having numbers supplemented by immigrants to South Coast of UK.
Also a further 3 male Four-spotted Footman.

Night 15th September - 1 Vestal, 1 Rush Veneer and a handful of Diamond-backs and Silver Y.

4th Sep: 5 Tebenna micalis; 9th Sep: 3 T.micalis, 1 Dark Sword Grass, 1 Delicate; 13th Sep: 1 Vestal; 14th Sep: 1 U.ferrugalis,1 Convolvulus Hawk, 2 Delicate, 1 White-speck

DARK MOTTLED WILLOW, night of 13/09/08 - first for Ireland if confirmed (specimen retained). Photo attached. At 15W actinic Skinner, front garden (SE-facing). Long awaited at my site! (Well, as long as I've been trapping there, since 2005).

Only other migrant same night was A Rush Veneer
