Despite a strong wind and rain over 50 spp trapped however still sort on migrants with only 1 silver y, 1 RDP, 1 Dark Swordgrass, 1 Pearly underwing and 1 White-point

Night of 1 August: 1 Convolvulus Hawk, 1 Dark Sword-grass, 1 Rush Veneer, 8 Silver Y

Silver Y 3, Marbled Clover 1, Kent Black Arches 5.

Night July 31st

Silver Y 16, Dark Sword Grass 1,Kent Black Arches 4, wanders from mianland/migrants Pebble Hooktip 1,Iron Prominent and Ghost Moth (first site record)also huge influx of Large Yellow Underwing with 3250 in single trap!!

A further influx of dragonflys during day July 31st (no freshwater on site)

On the night of 31st July 9 Silver y and one Small Mottled Willow ,first for year at this site.

First Migrant Hawkers,nine recorded in St.Catherines wood.

Another Bloxworth at light night of 29th and a subsequent one disturbed from foliage 1/2 mile from lights mid pm on 30th.

29/7- Didn't quite get washed out but only 1 Silver Y and 1 Dark sword-grass. The 13 Four-Spotted Footman recorded were almost certainly from the resident population.

Only migrants 3 Silver y, 1 Diamond Back Moth. Also 5 Kent Black Arches, 16 Brown-tail and 5 Crescent Striped.
