Olive Crescent recorded here last night to 125wMV. Dont know if its a migrant or not but a nice capture neverthless.

At last a small number of migrants.

Least Carpet 1, Dark Sword Grass 1, Silver Y 1, Rusty Dot Pearl 1, also Marbled Clover 1, Rosy Wave 1, Kent Black Arches 12 and 60 Harlequin Ladybirds.

and good numbers of Large Whites arriving

Painted Lady & 2 Red Admirals seen feeding on Buddleja this afternoon (25/7/08), Silver Y disturbed from vegetation.

Painted Lady 22/7 on Malvern Hills.
Another 23/7 Haugh Woods
Small numbers of Silver Y and Yponomeuta
evonymella most nights in the trap+Turnip Moth last night(a migrant here).

Single male Brown Hairstreak at Abott's Wood TQ559072. Brilliant Emerald still on wing at Thursley Common round Moat y'day

Night of 21st Orache Moth (Trachea atriplicis) (Le Volant doré in French)- I believe a possible migrant species for the UK. Also a wonderful Goat Moth (Cossus cossus) (Le Cossus gâte bois in French)- probably not a migrator to UK, but great for us to see.

Night of Saturday 19th July;
Dewick's plusia. Only other migrants were a few silver Y and ferrugalis
