Night of 28 January: 1 LEVANT BLACKNECK, 23 Euchromius ocellea, 1 Rusty-dot Pearl, 1 Pearly Underwing, 1 Oak Beauty, 2 Common Quaker, 2 Red Chestnut, 5 Hebrew Character, 1 Double-striped Pug, 2 Mottled Grey.

28/1/8 - 8 Euchromius ocellea. Only migrants amongst 12 species recorded.

The previous few nights have yielded 1 Double-striped Pug (Sun), 2 Epiphyas postvittana (Tues), and 1 Pale Brindled Beauty (Weds).
Also seen on Thurs night in the darkness with a headlamp: 2 Angle Shades larvae feeding on Ivy. |
