Death's-head Hawk-moth found today in a shelter at Spurn.

2 Humming-bird Hawk-moths, 5 Red Admirals and 10+ Painted Ladies nectaring on Red Valerian on the shingle beach north of Aberaeron yesterday (1 June). The buterflies were in pristine condition and there were several PL courtship flights late afternoon.
