Death's-head Hawk-moth (1) found in garden on seafront by Joy Daintree, Shoreham-by-Sea on 18th July 2007. I have the specimen, a female, and hope to breed from her.

Bedstraw Hawk-moth - 1 to 125w MV on the night of 16 August - the first site record.

I have spotted a weird butterfly in the garden of our clients golf villa. Normal size but the color is unreal, gold and shinny darker silver spots. Anyone farmiliar with this type of butterfly, or perhaps can help me out with the name.

Tree-lichen Beauty trapped at Barton Hills, Bedfordshire, VC30 on National Moth Night. As far as is know this is the first record for VC30 Beds.
Either a migrant or a wanderer from the UK population.
