Two Pearly Underwing in 125w mv last night - my first ever for Cheshire. A 3rd Pearly Underwing at my trap in Antrobus (also Cheshire)

2 Convolvulus hawkmoths 1 male/1 female - seen feeding on tobacco plants and then caught in 125mv trap.

Male Clifton Nonpareil in Robinson vapour moth trap last night (national moth night 23.09.06)

12 Convolvulus Hawks On the night of the 23rd to 125MV 30m from the beach on Kingston Gorse estate.

A second trap 1.5 miles inland form the first cautht 3.

other migrants included 2 vestal and 6 delicate.

Singles of Palpita vitrealis and Hummingbird Hawk at MV, latter seen most days in garden.
Also Martin Elliot caught a Striped Hawk at Sennen Cove.

Convolvulus Hawk in bedroom on floor this pm 23-9-06 warmed up and flew off into the night. Magnificent! (not from a trap)
