Many-lined caught with net at 125w MV + skinner in back garden on Friday 12th May 2006.

Dark Sword Grass in 125W MV at Marbury Country Park, nr Northwich last night

Overnight moth-trapping on 14 May produced my first hawk-moths of the year - Humming-bird and Striped!

14/5 Striped Hawk-moth (2) also lower laegue migrants DBMoth (8),RVeneer (2),DSGrass (2),Pearly UW (1),White-speck (1),Silver Y (3)

Dark Sword-grass Agrotis ipsilon (1) and Plutella xylostella (1) caught at Bawdsey (125w MVL) overnight on 14 May.

Influx of Silver-Y's noted over last three or four days, many disturbed from grassland sites.
