Night of 18 July: Delicate trapped at Spurn.

Last night (18/7) to MV
C anachoreta (scarce chocolate-tip) 2 males, never seen at this site before but is resident at Dungeness. So they might be local wanderers or represent an extension of range or could be migrants. Wind was light from France & some A gamma (silver y) seen as well. |

Afternoon of 19/07: single Humming-bird Hawk-moth.

3 painted lady larvae (two different instars) on spear thistle near Drift.
Also one silver Y in the same field. 4 red admirals seen on the walk back to Penzance. |
