1254 Diamond-back Moth (Plutella xylostella) & 54 Silver Y (Autographa gamma) in three traps running overnight. Also a Humming-bird Hawk-moth (Macroglossum stellatarum) visiting the nicotiana plants

Night of 1 July: Scarce Black Arches & Catoptria verellus trapped at Kingsdown.

Night of 30th June:

big influx of Diamond Backs. Over 200 in the trap this morning. More than an hour of heavy rain before I could check the trap so anybody's guess how many more had cleared off from outside it.

Also first delicate of the year, plus DSG and Silver Y. Lots of Silver Y in the fields here this afternoon.
