Oh and a Scilly Shrew in one of the traps leaving nothing behind but wings & legs of moths and craneflies and poo of course.

Night of 13 October: (with John Chainey, Jenny Spence, Neil Sherman & Bill Last):

19 species of moths recorded on ivy including Pearly Underwing & several Dark Sword-grass.

12 light-traps operated in the grounds of Bawdsey Hall produced 73 species of moths; migrants as follows: 8 Rusty-dot Pearl, 3 Rush Veneer, 1 Convolvulus Hawk-moth, 1 Silver Y, 1 Dark Spectacle, 2 Scarce Bordered Straw, 4 Delicate, 2 Turnip Moth and 4 Dark Sword-grass.
