27th Sept: Hummingbird Hawkmoth on Valerian in Garden - fourth sighting here this year.

Night of 27th Sept: Gem (male), Four-spotted footman (male), Udea ferrugalis (1) and Plutella xylostella (5).

Migrant moth totals on 27/9 and for the first time the ivy count was quite reasonable, (totals for 11 traps & ivy - Robin Hemming, Kevin Button & me):

On the night of the 26th 2 Delicate and a male 4-Spotted Footman. Blue Underwing also in the trap but they are breeding locally so unlikely to be a migrant.
