First Delicate of the autumn this morning. Over past couple of weeks up to 3 Scarce Bordered Straw & 2 Palpita vitralis per night. Handful of Rush Veneer's & Rusty Dot Pearl's each night but lucky to get any Silver Y with Diamond-backs almost non-existent. Evergistis limbata added to site list 26th and the 2nd & 3rd site records of Nyctegretis lineana on mornings of 27th & today.

Two C fraxini/Clifden Nonpareil last night (27.8) 1 male and one set of wings where a bird beat me to it, with 2 others over the past 10 days and one taken a few miles away 2 nights ago it must be breeding here too.

(9880) Clifden Nonpareil in the trap this morning. Interestingly another trapper in the village got one this morning also. As far as we can tell from our photos they are different individuals. So maybe like the White-points in the trap they are breeding locally. The other possibility is someone is breeding them but that seems unlikely given the size of the village. One rusty-dot pearl is probably the only true migrant today.
