Two caterpillars of hummingbird hawk moth found on ladys bedstraw via torching at Bradlaugh Fields, Northampton on 7th July with Tim Pickering and Pete Sharpe.

Night of 7th July: Silver Y and Nomophila noctuella (Rush veneer) noted amongst a large catch of 230+ species.
Also recorded was the 2nd Suffolk record of Small dotted footman, White-mantled wainscot (new site), Dentated pug (few Suffolk records) and Double kidney (another rare species in Suffolk and a new site for it). |
