Night of 18 September: 90 Diamond-back Moth, 17 Rusty-dot Pearl, 33 Rush Veneer, 1 Dewick's Plusia, 14 Silver Y and 1 Dark Sword-grass.

Approx. 8:15 pm: two Convolvulus Hawk Moths nectaring at Nicotiana sylvestris. Also one flying over roof.

Mark Sedgman et al recorded large numbers of Convolvulus Hawk-moths at dusk at ginger lilly flowers in garden of Covean Cafe, St Agnes. Counts were;
40+ on 16/9 25 to 30 on 17/9 |
