Palpita vitrealis this am. Recent weeks have just seen the expected commoner migrants in fairly lowish numbers.

12th Sept: Painted Lady nectaring at 18:50.

Night of 11/9: Cydia amplana (but could be resident with the number seen at this site this year), 2 Plutella xylostella and an Udea ferrugalis.

Hummingbird hawk-moth feeding on flowers of Daphne odorata in the garden at 4.45pm, 12/9.

Belatedly. 5th Sept. Death's-head hawk moth larva in garden at Wineham, W. Sussex.
