Diplopseustis perieresalis netted in garden

5 or 6 Clouded Yellows.

5 Clouded Yellows just inland at West Bexington today along with several hundred Small Tortoiseshells along the coast path between there and Abbotsbury. This included at least 50 on one buddleia.

1 Vestal at Tolpuddle, Dorset last night (28 August).

Migrant moths at 7 traps on 28/8 were;
Diamond-back x 2
Rusty-dot Pearl x 23
Rush Veneer x 68
Convolvulus Hawk x 1 (an enormous female)
Dark Swordgrass x 28
Pearly Underwing x 1
Silver Y x 29
Small Mottled Willow x 1
also what I'm sure were migrants:
Turnip x 2 (none seen all week!)
Angleshades x 46 (previous night only 5 recorded, 20 of these were all in the trap on top of the headland which seems to be the best site for migrants)

Night of 27/8 - vestal, rush veneer & rusty-dot pearl. Vestals have also been caught at a few other sites in Carmarthenshire by different recorders.
