Night of 2nd September: 1 Palpita vitrealis & 1 Clifden Nonpareil - the 3rd in a week for the latter and assumed to be resident in the area.

Over past week 4 C sponsa(Dk Crimson Underwing) to MV trap 26.8 x1, 29.8 x2 & 2.9 x1.
All females. Almost enough to speculate regarding local establishment? Many large oaks in the vicinity. Also getting C fraxini most nights, breeding on aspen over past few years. |
