Night of 13 August: 25 Diamond-back Moth, 29 Rush Veneer, 18 Rusty-dot Pearl, 1 Nephopterix angustella, 1 Dark Sword-grass, 2 Small Mottled Willow and 141 Silver Y.

1 Clouded Yellow + I Painted Lady in brownfield area near wood. At least 3rd consecutive year have seen Clouded Yellow in this small area.

Night of 12 August: 35 Diamond-back Moth, 20 Rush Veneer, 1 Rusty-dot Pearl, 1 European Corn-borer, 4 Dark Sword-grass, 1 Small Mottled Willow and 105 Silver Y.

Painted Lady seen today at Par railway station. Earlier this week spent four days in and around Falmouth and the only migrants seen were 2 Silver Y on the west bank of the Percuil River on 9 August

Hummingbird Hawk-moth in the garden this afternoon. Also 4-5 Painted Lady of which two to five daily for the last two weeks.
