11 Silver Y seen at dusk last night (23rd June) feeding at various garden flowers. None seen the previous night at the same time.

After noting a small increase in the number of Silver Ys visiting the valerian in the garden today, I was pleased to see the season's first Hummingbird Hawk just now. It fed on happily through a steady shower of rain, something that I have seen them do before.

A Silver Y on valerian this morning. Other migrants this month have been small numbers (10 maximum) of Diamond Back most nights and a Painted Lady on 6th & 7th
