Our last night on St Agnes, Isles of Scilly was a bit of a wash-out in several ways.A rush with packing and leaving, I managed to compile records from 8 of our traps from K Button and myself for 23/10;

2 nights of records from moth trapping by R Hemming, K Button and myself with 10 moth traps both nights and ivy checking by us plus by R Thewlis and B Dawson (they found the Radfords Flame Shoulder on the ivy!).
21/10 migrants were; Rusty-dot Pearl x 8 Rush Veneer x 3 Pearly Underwing x 2 Dark Swordgrass x 1 White-speck x 5 Small Mottled Willow x 1 Silver Y x 4 22/10 migrants were; Radfords Flame Shoulder x 1 (different from the one trapped on St Marys earlier this week) Dark Swordgrass x 1 Rusty-dot Pearl x 16 Palpita vitrealis x 2 Pearly Underwing x 2 Delicate x 1 White-speck x 19 Rush Veneer x 4 Scarce Bordered Straw x 1 |
