last night's moth counts of migrants from St Agnes (11/10), Isles of Scilly were probably down again from 9 traps plus ivy. A biting NE wind kept moths away from the more exposed traps.

Night of 11 October: 1 Painted Lady

Lizard Point, 12 October: 5 Clouded Yellow, 2 Common Darter, 50+ Large Whites, 3 Red Admirals in off the sea.

12 Diamond-back Moth, 2 Rusty-dot Pearl, 9 Rush Veneer, 11 Dark Sword-grass and 9 Silver Y.

Vagrant Emperor dragonfly in a Hessle garden today.

2 Diamond-back Moth, 3 Rusty-dot Pearl, 5 Rush Veneer, 1 male Gem, 1 Pearly Underwing, 3 Dark Sword-grass and 1 Silver Y.
