A late posting of moth numbers from 6 traps on St Martins, Isles of Scilly on 29/9 - David Price and myself. The wind dropped considerably so migrant numbers increased a lot, though nothing stunningly rare.
We had a good haul of moths though; 59 Rusty-dot Pearl 29 Rush Veneer 1 Hummingbird Hawk 1 Convolvulus Hawk 3 Turnips 2 Scarce-bordered Straw 4 Silver Y 2 Pearly Underwing 2 Dark Swordgrass |

Trapping on St Martins, Isles of Scilly again last night - 28/9, with David Price we ran 6 traps again and migrants improved with;
2 Delicate, 1 D Swordgrass, 1 Scarce-bordered Straw, 1 Convolvulus, 8 Rusty Dot Pearl, 13 R Veneer, 5 Turnip, 2 Silver Y. |
