Last night, Tuesday 15th:
I'm now into double figures of Convolvulus Hawks that I've trapped myself in 2015 - definitely better than 2006 for me. I never get tired of seeing them. Does anyone know how 2015 is measuring up against 2006 for migrant moths? And how well it measures up to the best of the other recent years? It's certainly getting close to being my best migrant year ever. So the list of migrants and possible migrants is; Diamond-back x 2 Rusty-dot Pearl x 11 Rush Veneer x 20 Palpita vitrealis x 1 Convolvulus hawk x 1 male Turnip x 13 Dark Swordgrass x 7 Pearly Underwing x 3 White-point x 1 Delicate x 1 White-speck x 4 Angleshades x 14 Scarce-bordered Straw x 1 Silver Y x 17 |
