A very fine immigrant example of the Great Brocade. Also 2 Vestal & 1 Scarce Bordered Straw.

Trapping with Ross Newham last night at St Margarets at Cliffe, after a slow start notched up a good migrant list:
Great Brocade (1), Small Mottled Willow (3), Scarce Bordered Straw (1), Pearly Underwing (4), Dark Swordgrass (4), Convolvulus Hawkmoth (1), Silver Y (20+), Rush Veneer (3), Diamond-back Moth (1).

Also of interest a Speckled Wood was also found in the trap.

Clifden Nonpareil to m/v in Orlestone wood complex near Hamstreet. Possibly breeding of course, but interesting connection with Great Brocade sightings and poss.? Camberwell Beauties
