A Lovely pink Vestal in the garden trap this morning. Migrants have been very scarce here so far.

Immaculate male Large Thorn to Robinson trap in garden on night of 3rd September. Only the second here since light-trapping at the site began in 1991 (25 years ago!)

a single female Convolvulus Hawk-moth trapped in my parents garden using a 20 year old 6watt heath trap ...... only other possible migrants Vine's Rustic (2) & loads of Large Yellow Underwing.

49 Dark Sword Grass, 45 Silver Y, 32 Rush Veneer, 9 Pearly Underwing, 4 Scarce Bordered Straw, 2 White-speck and single Vestal, Convolvulus, Bordered Straw and Small Mottled Willow on night of 2nd.
