2 Vestal, 2 Bordered Straw and 1 Scarce Bordered Straw at Sandwich Bay.

These moths are all viewable at the Sandwich Bay Wildlife and Countryside Fair.

Single Vestal (very pale) disturbed in daytime, in playing field, 30 August.

2 Diamond-back Moth, 39 Rusty-dot Pearl, 15 Rush Veneer, 1 Crocidosema plebejana, 9 Latticed Heath, 5 Dark Sword-grass, 10 Small Mottled Willow, 37 Silver Y & 1 Ni Moth.

Long-tailed Blue at Lodmoor this afternoon; on rough ground behind the tip.

male Clouded Yellow nectaring on Marsh Thistle on the Main Plain. My first sighting of this species at Bookham. Also of note 2 Brown Hairstreaks with one female sipping over-ripe blackberry.

Old World Webworm at Portland.

Striped Hawk-moth and Vestal at Stoke Abbott.

29th Aug. 2 Painted Ladies on the garden Buddleia for the third consecutive day.
