Night of 8th August 2015 - Cydia amplana recorded at Suffolk Moth Group event with P.Bryant, J.Chainey, J.Spence, B.Jones, K.Knights and T.Prichard.

Night of 7th Aug. Fantastic night including all the "migrants" which have settled or bred from earlier this year. Scarce bordered straw, 5 bordered straw, 3 small mottled willow, 2 Ni, 2 Bloxworth snout, plumed fanfoot, Blair's mocha, Jersey mocha, 30+ Jersey tiger, 35 quadra and 3 tree-lichen beauty. I did have 550 large yellow underwings which probably did include a lot of migrants.

My second Ni Moth in my Aylesbury garden trap arrived last night, also my first Nomophila noctuella of the year, plus two Silver y.

Fresh individuals of Painted Lady + Clouded Yellow.

Also migrant hoverfly, Scaeva pyrastri

Night of 7th: Singles of Small Mottled Willow, Dark Sword-grass, Rush Veneer, 2 Diamond-backs & 3 Silver Ys. Also a Straw Dot, which might be a migrant here.
