Widespread arrival of Long-tailed Blue butterflies in East and West Sussex; including the following recent records:
3 male Long-tailed Blue at Whitehawk Hill, Brighton on 22 August, with a further 6 at a private site nearby. Also singletons on 22 August in private gardens at Seaford and Storrington. Several Long-tailed Blues also noted at Lancing on 21 August. |
