Small Mottled Willow and Scarce Bordered Straw in our garden moth trap night before last

Waved Black caught in village of Middlezoy in Somerset on night of Tuesday 21st July this week.

New macro moth to Somerset and thought to be a migrant.

Godolphin Woods: Red Admiral (7), Painted lady (1) & Humming-bird Hawk-moth (2).

Six Small Mottled Willow last night

2 male Southern Migrant Hawker Dragonflies still present today. Please keep to the paths and boardwalks and avoid trampling any surrounding pond vegetation. If trampling/damage is caused this year it has been decided that news of any future rarity will not be reported by the site managers.
