A surprise in my actinic trap last night was a Currant Clearwing. I have never heard of them being attracted to light before. 60 macro species but not a migrant amongst them.

Having failed to record bordered straw in the garden trap in N. Wiltshire all summer, found one at rest today - on an oak tree in shaded woodland at Horner Woods, Somerset!
