Night of 20th June: In a catch of 380+ moths which included my 1st ever Lobster Moth the only migrant was a single Rush Veneer!!!!!
By day on 21st June: single Bordered Straw & Humming-bird Hawk-moth. |

night of Wed 17th June - dusking on beach with a lot of Valerian = 50-100 (hard to count exactly) H peltigera (bordered straw) feeding at dusk and half as many A gamma (silver Y), but only 3 peltigera to one light trap run on the site.
Clearly does not get attracted to light much. |

Also just heard about a Striped Hawk-moth trapped at Middlewood Green, Suffolk on the night of 17 June. |
