Diamond-back moth and Rush Veneer also brief but close glimpse of a bright yellow butterfly that flew behind a huge granite boulder and disappeared, could have only been a Clouded Yellow but did not get a firm ID. |

Night of 14 April - the continuing warm weather brought 80 moths of 21 species to my garden mv light, a total that included a single Rush Veneer, which is my first migrant of the year and I think my earliest ever here in north Sussex.
