Single Humming-bird Hawk-moth spotted by my parents in their garden.

Small Mottled Willow - the first Cheshire record for several years I think. Also 2 Diamond-back Moth.

Four-spotted Footman, x2 Small Mottled Willow, x2 Dark Sword-grass, x20 RDP, x4 Rush Veneer, x1 Silver Y

A single Vestal was only migrant after a very wild and wet night.

31/10: Cosmopolitan, Small Mottled Willow, Vestal, Palpita vitrealis.

All night 6 lights heavy rain strong winds, quite horrible. About 3 moths per trap but one was H recurvalis, also one exigua (sm Mott willow)
